If you think I would learn strength and independence by way of shunning me off, then you're wrong. Nobody could teach me the things I ought to learn by means of external forces.
You may have your good intentions for doing what you do but the end-state you that thought I would acquire may not come to me as you wished for.
I will learn things at my own pace and time. You can be the instrument but not the trigger.
You're punishing me, not teaching me..
